Wanna Write for xSpark?
Here’s everything you need to know before pitching your masterpiece.
So… you wanna guest blog for xSpark Agency?
First of all — hi-five for making it this far.
We’re not gonna bore you with corporate clichés like “we value your contribution” (even though we totally do). Instead, here’s the no-nonsense, slightly cheeky guideline you need to follow if you’re thinking about dropping your content bomb on our blog.
We love content that sparks conversations, gives people something to think about, and doesn’t sound like it was written by a robot trapped in 2012.
If that sounds like your kind of writing, let’s roll.
What We’re Looking For
Topics That Light Us Up Like a Diwali Rocket:
- The real benefits of using AI tools (not just “ChatGPT can write emails” — duh, we know that already)
- Smart, no-jargon takes on Web Design
- Anything no-code (from Zapier hacks to “how to build an app without a beard and burnout”)
- Business and startup tips that don’t sound like a lecture
- Anything under Sales and Marketing — especially if you’ve got spice and stats
If your blog idea lives in any of these zip codes, send it over.
Content Guidelines (a.k.a. How to Not Get Ghosted)
Write for Humans, Not Algorithms — but also, make Google happy.
- Search Intent is king — we don’t publish fluff that doesn’t answer real questions
- Your content must scream originality (if we find it copy-pasted, we ghost faster than an ex)
- Stay relevant to what we talk about at xSpark — startups, marketing, design, content, growth
- Make it valuable — we want “Aha!” moments, not “Hmm okay.”
- Word count: 1500+ words. We prefer 2000–2500 words if you’ve got the juice
- Oh, and your post better be SEO optimized — or at least willing to learn the ropes
Writing Style (You Know We’re Not Boring)
- Keep it conversational, but clear — like talking to a friend who actually listens
- Use first-person where needed (it’s okay to sound like a real person)
- Use contractions. (We don’t say “do not,” we say “don’t.” Feel the vibe?)
- Short paras only. Max 3 sentences per paragraph. Your reader’s eyes deserve mercy
- Use bolds, bullets, numbered lists, and headings (H2 > H3 > H4)
- Drop a few tips, quotes, stats, or tables for flair and credibility
- Add a meta description (keep it punchy — max 120 characters)
Links & Love
- You can add 1 do-follow link in the body if it makes sense (no spammy self-promo, please)
- We’ll give you a do-follow link in return, but only if you link back to us from your site or your partners’
- If your link smells fishy or off-brand, our editors have the power to swipe left
- Add a short, snazzy author bio at the end of the post — link to your socials or portfolio if you want
Link Exchange & Long-Term Love
We’re open to content exchange or link exchange partnerships.
If your blog, business, or agency is vibing with our audience, let’s talk.
Slide into our DMs or email us — we don’t ghost good people with great ideas.
TL;DR
If you can write:
- killer long-form posts (1500–2500 words),
- with SEO in mind,
- for a startup-focused audience,
- in a chill, friendly tone,
- and want a cool backlink and a growing network in return…
Send your pitch to [team@xsparkagency.com] or fill out this quick form and let’s set the internet on fire (ethically, of course).

Great. You’re our kind of writer. Let’s spark something awesome together.
Now go brew some chai and start writing.
Images, Charts & All That Eye Candy
No one wants to read a wall of text (unless you’re into that kind of torture). So please:
- Drop in relevant, high-quality images, charts, or infographics that boost your content’s charm and clarity
- Only use visuals you’ve created, bought, or borrowed legally — stealing = instant disqualification (and we’ll cry)
- Upload all visuals to a neat Google Drive folder and share it with us (make it public or give us editor access)
- Cite the image source like this:
→ “Image source” ← hyperlink this text to the actual page where you found it
Let your content look as good as it reads — we like both brains and beauty. ️
Copyright & Plagiarism: Not Cool, Never Cool
Let’s make one thing clear — we don’t do copycats here.
Your work must be 100% original, fresh from your creative oven. If you copy-paste from somewhere (or ask your AI buddy to ghostwrite the entire piece), we’ll reject it before you can say “Ctrl + C.”
Zero tolerance for plagiarism. None. Nada. Never.
🔍 Editing & Review Process
Here’s what happens after you hit “Send”:
- Our editorial team reads every word (sometimes twice) to check for quality, clarity, relevance, and xSpark‑level vibes
- We might edit the piece for flow, grammar, and structure — but don’t worry, your voice will still shine through
- Sometimes, we’ll suggest a few tweaks and send it back with notes. Don’t take it personally — it just means we care
- Only once it’s spark-tacular do we hit publish
Patience, young grasshopper. Great blogs take a bit of polish.
What Not to Send Us (Deal-Breakers Ahead)
Please don’t pitch us any of this, or we’ll politely ghost you (or send you a meme instead of a reply):
- Entire articles written by AI tools (we love AI, but we want you writing for us)
- Articles that already exist on our site (yes, we Google our own stuff before approving yours — pro tip: you should too)
- Content that sounds like an ad for your product/service (save that for your landing page)
- Anything copied, duplicated, or “heavily inspired” by another blog
- Content that’s offensive, aggressive, or tone-deaf — we’re here to help, not hurt
Submission Instructions (Read This Twice)
When you’re ready to pitch your brilliance, follow this checklist:
- Create a Google Doc with your blog outline (yes, outline first — we like to collaborate early)
- Include a short Author Bio (50–100 words) at the end
- Add your LinkedIn profile link – if it’s missing or fake, we’ll hit that hard pass button faster than you think
- Share your best previous work – blogs, Medium articles, portfolio links, etc.
- Submit everything via this form
If you don’t follow these steps, your submission goes straight into the “nope” pile.
P.S.: No Author Bio = No Approval.
P.P.S.: No LinkedIn link = No credibility.
What Happens Next?
- We’ll take 7–15 business days to review your outline
- If your pitch is approved, we’ll reach out to your email with next steps
- If it’s not approved and you haven’t heard from us in 15 days — assume it didn’t make the cut (no hard feelings — come back stronger next time)
- And no, we can’t guarantee approval just because you’re awesome. It still has to make sense for our blog and audience
Final Words (For Real This Time)
Guest blogging at xSpark isn’t just about backlinks and SEO brownie points — it’s about sparking conversations, curiosity, and growth. If you’ve got value to share and you can say it in a way that doesn’t bore us to tears, we’re already fans.
So go ahead. Pitch like you mean it.
And if you’re really cool — throw in a line or two that makes us laugh.
Let’s build something awesome together.
